About the C Collective

We're a purpose led consultancy on a mission to help regenerative solutions scale with People and planet centred Design and marketing.  To achieve this, we help like-minded entrepreneurs and business leaders with climate education, product & service design, marketing and regenerative business transformation.

Our clients are mainly purpose led start-up in the early stages of their journey. We also occasionally work with non-profits and larger organisations.

During our first 6 years of existence, we have worked with dozens of clients, building up a small but mighty team of experts, thought leadership, events and solid credentials.

Most of our team members are experts in design and/or marketing and delivering environmental awareness workshops.

We are now looking to go to the next stage of growth and expanding our collective of experts on a mission to use their skills to accelerate people- and planet-friendly innovation.

 

The role

We are looking for a senior User Experience Design expert to join us as a partner, contributing to our business development efforts and being a billable resource.

This is an entrepreneurial role for an established design professional with an existing portfolio of projects and clients in the social and environmental impact space, looking to join forces with a team and build something bigger than their freelance activity.

 

Your responsibilities:

• Contribute to the profitable growth of the C Collective

• Become an ambassador of the business

• Contribute to our brand through production of thought leadership

• Attend industry events

• Actively develop our reach in the impact entrepreneur / tech for good community to create awareness, relationships and leads.

• Cost and scope client projects – working with the managing partner and our pool of Brand, Copywriting and UX experts.

• Deliver UX projects

• Contribute to the C Collective vision and strategy

 

Key skills and attitudes:

• A genuine interest to work in the social and environmental impact space.

• A minimum of 8 years of experience ideally in UX, product/service design, design thinking.

• A good knowledge of environmental and social science.

• Great interpersonal skills and ability to build trusted relationships with clients and resources.

• Comfortable at sales and client management.

• Interested in “having some skin” in the business development game.

• Good presentation and public speaking skills.

• Managerial experience would be a plus

• Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time

• Other European languages are a plus

 

Location

We work remotely with occasional meetings in London.

The ideal person should be based around London, Paris or Brussels.

 

Salary

This is an entrepreneurial role, where you will have to generate projects where your time is billable.

£500-600 per billable days, depending on experience.

Equity after a successful trial period during which you would demonstrate your ability to close new projects.
